Victoria and team Bulgaria have revealed the second out of the six potential songs to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. It’s time to listen to ‘Imaginary Friend’!
Five songs are still in the race to be Bulgaria’s entry in Rotterdam 2021. ‘Ugly Cry‘, which was released a few days ago, is among the final candidates, but it’s not the only one. The other five songs will be revealed in the next few days:
- Imaginary Friend (Sunday 14 February)
- Dive Into Unknown (Monday 15 February)
- Phantom Pain (Tuesday 16 February)
- The Funeral Song (Wednesday 17 February)
- Growing Up Is Getting Old (Thursday 18 February)
- UGLY CRY (already available on streaming platforms)
Each song of Victoria’s new EP will be revealed along with an official lyric video on her YouTube channel and the official partner website eurovision.icard.com. When all of them are out, a special platform will be open on iCard and Eurovision Bulgaria’s website to let fans leave their feedback on the songs. Victoria and her team will have these opinions in mind and the ones from experts to choose the song she will perform in May.
VICTORIA says about her upcoming album: “Every young artist dreams about their first album. I am proud I will finally be able to share my EP with the world. The title “a little dramatic” best describes the overall arc of the songs on the album. I think I grew a lot in 2020, which was quite a dramatic year.”
Victoria Georgieva will be Bulgaria’s representative for the second time after not being able to perform on the Eurovision stage in 2020 due to the pandemic that got the contest cancelled.
