About Gustaph
Gustaph won the Belgian national selection which is also known as “Eurosong 2023” at the end of last year; it was the first time Belgium held a national pre-selection since 2016. Gustaph won nor the professional jury vote, nor the public vote, but managed to get enough points to become victorious.
Gustaph entered the Eurovision Song Contest before, but as a back-up singer, in 2018 for Belgian representative Sennek (“Matter of Time”) and in 2021 for Belgian entrants Hooverphonic (“The Wrong Place”).
Eurovision 2023
Belgium’s Gustaph will perform 5th (of 16) in the second Semi-final on May 11th 2023.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
