Armenia releases song for Junior Eurovision, listen to “Tarber” (Different)!

ARMTV has just released the song that Anahit and Mary will sing on November 20 in Valletta. The Armenian duo will perform “Tarber” (Different) at Junior Eurovision 2016, composed by Nick Egibyan and lyricist Avet Barseghyan.

Listen to the song and watch the official music video below:

“Tarber” is about love and music – powers that unite us all despite our differences. Just like that, Mary and Anahit, 2 exceptional young ladies with different styles and personalities are united through their passion for music.

“I was very inspired by Mary and Anahit. The song was already creating itself in my mind, when I met them for the first time – says composer Nick Egibyan, – As soon as we started rehearsing, I realized that the song fits them perfectly. It’s very interesting, how music can unite 2 completely different artists, with different vocals and styles. I think we have created something very special!”

Lyricist Avet Barseghyan says he had several ideas about the theme of the song, but he knew from the beginning that he should highlight the differences of both artists:

“After several discussions with our team, we decided that it would be interesting to present the girls just the way they are. Each of them have their unique style, their personality, and that is what they sing about. Mary is elegant and stylish, while Anahit loves to experiment with new looks and trends. But in the end it is their passion for music that unites them” – says Avet.

Both Anahit and Mary were very excited during the shooting of “Tarber” music video:

“I am really enjoying this process! We have created 2 different looks that highlight our differences, our personalities. It was a lot of fun to “style fight” with Anahit on the set!” – says Mary.

“I’m sure people will love “Tarber”! The music video is very positive and colorful! I can’t wait to perform with Mary in Malta. I’m sure we are going to have a lot of fun and make new friends from all over the world!” – says Anahit.

Armenian

I said o-o-o we will always have our own ways,
Because we are different, but not indifferent
A-a-a we will always live in one space,
Because love is bigger than any difference.

English

I have my own style – I’m always classy,
Only black and white colors In my wardrobe,
My style is different – I’m crazy and free,
Combining colors and shades.
Always arguing,
We have our ways,
We don’t see each other,
But deep inside…

Music is what’s important,
It’s our passion, it’s different,
But in our eyes
There is love and laughter,
Every day is full of light
As long as the sun is in our heart, always.

I’m stylish and elegant,
You’re always jealous of my hair,
I’m sporty and trendy,
I’m daring – a vivid spirit, not orderly.
Always arguing,
We have our ways,
We don’t see each other,
But deep inside…

Music is what’s important,
It’s our passion, it’s different,
But in our eyes
There is love and laughter,
Every day is full of light
As long as the sun is in our heart, always.

You and I are different,
We’re different worlds,
Yet you and I are best friends.

I said o-o-o we will always have our own ways,
Because we are different, but not indifferent
A-a-a we will always live in one space,
Because love is bigger than any difference.
