Anastasiya Baginska wins Ukrainian final for Junior Eurovision 2017

Anastasiya Baginska has been named the winner of the Ukrainian national final for Junior Eurovision 2017, which has just taken place in Pushcha Vodytsia’s Artek Children Center. The young singer will represent her country in Tbilisi with the song “Ne Zupynyay”.

About Anastasiya Baginska:

Anastasiya Baginska is 12 years old and she rose to fame when she took part at The Voice Kids of Ukraine, where she reached the super final. Last year, she already attempted to represent her country in Junior Eurovision with the song “Miy Svit”. Despite winning the jury voting, she didn’t manage to represent Ukraine in Valletta.

This talented singer has performed along with very well-known Ukrainian singers such as Alyosha and Tina Karol. Moreover, she has taken part in several national and international competitions like the Slavic Bazaar.

Nastya’s song for Junior Eurovision 2017 is written by the producer Katerina Komar from Katapulta Creative Team. The Ukrainian representative for Tbilisi is also a student of Ekaterina’s music studio.

The Ukrainian final:

A total of ten acts, who qualified from a live semi-final, competed to represent Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017:

  3. Duo “Glamurchyk” – De Ty I Ya
  4. Sofia Lozina – Ya Viryu
  5. Sofia Bondarenko – Muzyka Dushi
  6. Anastasiya Baginska – Ne Zupynyay
  7. Fediya Skliarenko – Davay, Spivay!
  8. Darina Halytska – Yanholy
  9. Sofia Shkidchenko – Yo De Ley
  10. Nina Boikova – Dream Is Near

The Ukrainian representative for Junior Eurovision 2017 was decided by a 50/50 combination of votes from the public viewers and a professional jury panel, made up of music and sound producer Vadym Lysytsia, singer Iryna Shvaidak, singer and actor EL Kravchuk, singer and composer Svitlana Tarabarova, singer and musician ROZHDEN.
