Alekseev wins Belarusian final for Eurovision 2018

BTRC has just picked their entry for Lisbon!

The Belarusian national final has just come to an end and viewers alongside an expert panel (50/50) got to choose the name of the act that will represent the country in Portugal. Alekseev has got the support of both, jury and audience, so he will represent Belarus at this year’s Eurovision with the song “Forever“.

A total of 10 acts have competed at today’s show:

  1. Adagio – You and I
  2. Alekseev – Forever
  3. Shuma – Hmarki
  4. Napoli – Chasing Rushes
  5. Anastasia Malashkevich – World on Fire
  6. Gunesh – I Will Not Cry
  7. Radio wave – Subway Lines
  8. Alen Hit – I do Not Care
  9. Lexy Weaver – Ain’t You
  10. Cyril Hood – Deja Vu

The show was again introduced to the audience by Belarusian TV personalities Olga Ryzhikova and former ESC representative in 2014 Teo. Special guests also performed at the show including NaviBand, as well as the brightest artists of the current and last year’s national selections: Violetta Baginskaya, Angelina Pipper, Ivan Zdonyuk, Angelica Pushnova, Elizaveta Muravieva, July, Michael Soul, trio Beatrice.
