Czech broadcaster CT has just revealed the winner of the Eurovision Song CZ who will represent the country in Eurovision 2022!
We are Domi with the song “Lights off” will fly the flag in Italy next May for the Czech Republic!
The process consisted of an online selection where people were able to cast their votes through the internet. The organizers have stated that they wanted to complete their selection process as soon as possible, with the aim that the winning artists can begin preparing their performance from January 2022.
The winner was determined by a combination of an international jury (50%), international public vote (25%) and Czech public vote (25%). The international jury consisted of Blind Channel (Finland 2021), Victor Crone (Estonia 2019), Manizha (Russia 2021), Tix (Norway 2021), Maraaya (Slovenia 2015), The Black Mamba (Portugal 2021), Go-A (Ukraine 2021), Dadi Freyr (Iceland 2021), Gjon’s Tears (Switzerland 2021), Jay Aston from Bucks Fizz (UK 1981), Paul Harrington (Ireland 1994) and Charlie McGettigan (Ireland 1994).
