Arina Pekhtereva will represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. This is the first time ever the broadcaster selects internally for the kids’ competition. The 12-year old performer will sing ‘Aliens’ on 29th November.
About her song Aliens, Arina says: “The song was written in spring when the coronavirus spread around the world. The idea of my song is simple: The world has stopped, borders have closed, people can no longer visit each other and even the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is different. But I believe that the future is in our hands, and it is up to us children to save the world and make it better!”
