Watch: Junior Eurovision 2020 Opening Ceremony and Running Order Draw

Today the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will officially start as the opening ceremony will take place in Warsaw. At this special event, we will get to know the 12 participants and who will open and close the show, as well as the running spot of the host country.

This year, as you know, the Opening Ceremony won’t see all contestants together in the host city because of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Instead, the organisers have prepared a special broadcast hosted by Mateusz Szymkowiak. The event will feature special guests, including the last year’s winner Viki Gabor, who will perform the theme song ‘Move The World’, composed by Gromee.

Not only the Opening Ceremony will take place today, but also the running order draw, which will determine the countries that will open and close the show, and the running spot of the host country Poland. The full running order for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will be decided by the producers of the show to showcase the different styles of music and ensure variety and excitement.

You can watch the Opening Ceremony of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 live from TVP’s studios in Warsaw at 16:00 CET here.
