Tonight, Vidbir 2019 kicked off with its first semi-final of eight contestants competing for three spots available in the final. We also saw an interval performance by last year’s representative, MELOVIN.
In a combined vote by the three-person jury and the public, the following acts made it through to the final:

- Brunettes Shoot Blondes – Houston
