The public broadcaster of Ukraine, Suspilne, revealed the 11 songs which will battle it out in Vidbir 2024, the Ukrainian national final.

The announcement of the songs of Ukraine happened today during a press conference that was held by Suspilne, Ukraine’s national broadcaster in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv.

What else happened during today’s press conference?

During today’s press conference there was also a draw to determine the running order of Vidbir 2024. The draw was hosted by well-known Ukrainian presenter Timur Miroshnychenko, who hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 and has been Ukraine’s Eurovision commentator since 2007.

When will the Ukrainian national final take place?

The Ukrainian national final will take place on February 3rd 2024. The winner will be decided by both a professional jury votes and public votes.

The venue of the event remains disclosed until further notice, because Ukraine is still at war with Russia and safety is key.

Who represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2023?

Ukraine was the co-host of Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool (UK), since they had won the 2022 contest, but could not host it on home soil because of the war, so the United Kingdom stepped in. Ukraine was represented by the duo TVORCHI in 2023 with the song “Heart of Steel”. In the Grand Final the duo ended in 6th position (of 26).
