Tonight: Third heat of A Dal 2018 in Hungary

As usual, the curtain goes up at 20.30 CET and the show will be in the very capable hands of Kriszta Rátonyi and Freddie. The jury – Károly Frenreisz, Judit Schell, Miklós Both and Misi Mező – are certain to provide excellent value and top-class feedback, although I’m delighted it’s not me having to face them!

Same as before, two rounds of voting will decide which six entries proceed to the Semi-Finals on 10th and 17th February. Round One will produce five qualifiers – based on a combination of the jury’s scores and viewer votes; the public will be having their say through SMS, mobile app and online voting. Round Two will then see the public decide which of the remaining five entries escapes the ejector seat and stays on board for at least another week.
