Tonight: Second heat of “Eurovizijos Atranka” in Lithuania

It is big time for one of the Baltic nations participating in the contest to go forward with the search of its 2018 Eurovision act, ATTENTION!

Tonight’s show for this year’s competition in Lithuania will see the next set of acts fighting to make it to the next stage of the national selection and the right to represent Lithuania in Lisbon, thus the line-up will look as it follows:

  • Juozas Martin – “Don’t Give Up”
  • Justina Žukauskaitė – “Love Doesn’t Lie”
  • Elvina Milkauskaitė & Balys Kulikauskas – “So Long My Love, My Lover”
  • LJ – “Over Now”
  • Rūta Kotryna – “Ghost”
  • Saulės Kliošas – “Man Gaila”
  • Twosome – “Hello”
  • Paula – “1 2 3”
  • Audrius Petrauskas – “In My Bones”
  • Elizabeth Olshey – “Bejausmis”
  • Mia – “Arrows”
  • Emilija Valiukevičiūtė – “Bye Bye”

Although the the show is set to be aired tonight, the entire programme was filmed on Wednesday, as usual. The jury panel made up of music experts and TV media professionals cast their say during the recording and their votes have been made public by Lithuanian Eurovision website Eurodiena.lt

Everything now lies in hands of the audience which will have the eventual decision on which competing acts will be making it through the next stage of “Eurovizijos Atranka 2018”

The couple in charge of conducting the contest this year is made up by the male humorist Mantas Stonkus and the female TV presenter Ugne Skonsmanaite.

If we go back in time, Lithuania was represented by Fusedmarc in 2017 with the song Rain of Revolution, where they went on to finished 17th in the 2nd semi-final, which means being of the worst results for the country since 2005, when the contest was also held in Kyiv.
