Today the 57th edition of the Albanian music festival begins in Tirana with the first show, which will feature 22 original songs performed with the traditional FiK orchestra. All the candidates will compete at the final of the competition, so the first and second shows will serve as a way to showcase the tracks in both orchestral and Eurovision versions.

At today’s show, all songs will be performed with the traditional FiK orchestra. Tomorrow, we will get to hear the songs again but this time with a Eurovision style arrangement. The contestants will also make use of staging concepts during that show. A winner will then be decided on December 22. This is the first time Albania will use the idea of having the FiK contestants think of the ultimate Eurovision presentation.
