These are the 30 hopefuls to represent Kazakhstan at Junior Eurovision 2021!

Kazakh television Khabar Agency has just announced the 30 candidates with chances to represent Kazakhstan at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021, which is scheduled to be held in Paris on December, 19.

These are the 30 hopefuls:

An online voting is now open to select the 10 finalists that will compete in the televised national final on November, 6. People can vote from today to October, 12 at jevision.khabar.kz.

A record number of 819 submissions were received, turning it a very hard decision for the expert panel to choose the best ones. The jury was composed by the following components:

  • Khamit Shangaliev: Composer of the Kazakh junior songs for 2019 and 2020, arranger and music producer of the project “Kazakhstan dauysy 2021”)
  • Madina Sadvakasova: Pop singer, winner of the contest “Zhas Kanat 1999” and Honorary Worker of Kazakhstan)
  • Beksultan Kenishkaliev: Winner of the youth state award “Daryn” and the international contest “Palanga-2019” and 3rd place in the international contest “Slavianski Bazaar 2020”)
  • Kanat Aitbaev Singer, director of the DimashAli production center and organizer of the annual festival “Bakhytty Bala”.
  • Yerlan Bekchurin: Producer, arranger and composer for the well-known singer Dimash Kudaibergen.
  • Karlygash Abdikarimova: Director of the international competitions “Boztorgai” and “Shattyk”, member of the International Association of Competitions and Festivals and official representative of Kazakhstan at the international art festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk

This will be the fourth time for Kazakhstan at Junior Eurovision since their debut in 2018. In the last two years the country reached the second place thanks to Yerzhan Maxim in 2019 and Karakat Bashanova in 2020.
