EBU has published few moments ago has published videos and photos from Ukraine’s first rehearsals at the Junior Eurovision 2021 stage.

This year’s Junior Eurovision edition will be again on-site, all delegations have travelled to Paris under a strict safety protocol and now they are making their rehearsals at the arena. After these lines, you can see a gallery with images of the delegation first contact with the stage and cameras.

ABOUT OLENA USENKO

Appart from singing, she likes painting, writing poetry. Since she was very young, she had the dream of representing Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She tried it last year with the song “We never get free”, but she finished second behind Oleksandr Balabanov. Finally, after he advice of Oleksandr she send her song “Vazhil” again for the national final. in the end she won the competition and got her the ticket to Paris.

Her song is written completely in Ukrainian by herself and the famous songwriter Kateryna Komar. Vazhil literally means “leverage” and tries to plan how to be happy. Olena describes the song as a call to live and fill your life with beautiful moments, be yourself and be aware of each moment, value our life and live it as we believe it is right. In the song Olena tells the story of her self-improvement. She suffered bullying at school due to her quirks and creativity.

JUNIOR EUROVISION 2021, AGAIN ON STAGE

After a gap year with pre-recorded performances because of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year the hope of the Junior Eurovision contest come to stage again. Paris will be the light of this hope and as Junior Eurovision 2021 claim says, they will invite all of us to ‘Imagine’ again as if we were kids.

La Seine Musicale is the place where the dreams will come true this Christmas time, with this year’s amazing show where 19 countries will try to get the Eurovision Junior’s trophy.
