Get ready today for the official announcement of the Swiss entry of this year’s song contest in Turin, Italy. After months of speculations about who is going to be the successor of Gjon’s Tears, today the word will finally be out.

How was the Swiss entry chosen
This year’s Swiss entry was chosen by two separate juries of one was a panel of 100 Swiss viewers and a jury of international Eurovision connoisseurs. The professional jury consisted of musicians, writers, national jury members, and related that have been participating in the Eurovision Song Contest. Both juries were good for 50% of the total result.
Switzerland in last year’s contest
Last year Switzerland came in 3rd when Gjon’s Tear’s sang his song “Tout l’Univers” in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Let’s hope that his successor will do just as great or even better.
Eurovision Song Contest 2022
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 10th (Semi-final 1), 12th (Semi-final 2), and on the 14th (Grand Final) in Turin, Italy. Switzerland will compete in the first half of the first Semi-final on May 10th 2022.
