Yesterday, the Swiss-Italian broadcaster, RSI, announced their 3 candidates for the Swiss national selection. A selection jury consisting of Paolo Meneguzzi (Switzerland 2008), Gabriel Broggini (Sinplus) (Switzerland 2012) and Simone Tomassini listened to all the entries that were sent to RSI and chose three of them for the Swiss selection.
- Theo (Matteo Rossi) – Because of you
- Elias Bertini – Elephant
- Nathalie (Nathalie Cadlini) – Share love
These three artists will compete again in the live auditions round along with the 10 candidates by SRF and the 6 candidates by RTS. The next round will take place on December 6th where a special jury will narrow down the candidates to a total of 6. Three from SRF, two from RTS and one from RSI. The final of the Swiss national selection will be held at Kreuzlingen on February 13th, and the act chosen to represent Switzerland will be decided via a 50/50 vote (jury and televoting).
