SVT has published a sneak peek of the rehearsals of the first Melodifestivalen 2019 semi-final, which will take place on Saturday, February 2nd.

Melodifestivalen 2019 will consists of 6 shows, four semi-finals, a Second Chance show and a Grand Final held in Stockholm. Two acts from each semi-final will make it to the final, while the 3rd and 4th placed will compete in the Second Chance (Andra Chansen) from which four contenders will qualify for the Grand Final.
The Melodifestivalen 2019 schedule is as follows:
- Semi-Final 1 – February 2nd, Scandinavium, Gothenburg
- Semi-Final 2 – February 9th, Malmö Arena, Malmö
- Semi-Final 3 – February 16th, Tegera Arena, Leksand
- Semi-Final 4 – February 23rd, Sparbanken Arena, Lidköping
- Second Chance round – March 2rd, Nyköpings Arena Rosvalla, Nyköping
- Grand Final – March 9th, Friends Arena, Stockholm
This year’s shows will be hosted by Marika Carlsson, Eric Saade, Kodjo Akolor and Sarah Dawn Finer.
