Gina Dirawi and Hampus Nessvold will host Melodifestivalen 2026. Two stage-savvy comedians with a great sense of timing. One veteran and one debutant. It will be Gina’s fourth time, which means she now holds the female record for the role. For Hampus, it will be his first time on the Mello stage.

Gina Dirawi first became known through her humorous and musical presence on YouTube (Ana Gina 2009–2011) and later as a host of several major Swedish radio and TV programs—among them Melodifestivalen (2012, 2013, 2016), Musikhjälpen, the Grammis Awards (2014, 2015), and Idol (2017–2018), as well as the Kristallen Awards and the Guldbagge Awards (2022). In 2012 and 2013, Gina Dirawi was voted Female Host of the Year at the Kristallen Awards. She has acted at the city theater as Donna Juanita and in the science fiction film Egghead Republic, which premiered in the autumn. Dirawi has released the critically acclaimed album Meet Me In Jannah and the novel “Paradiset ligger under mammas fötter” (Paradise Lies Beneath Mother’s Feet), and has had her own TV shows—among them Ginas värld (2014–2015) (Gina’s world), Gina Dirawi lever och dör (2022) (Gina Dirawi Lives and Dies), and most recently Gina mot Miljarden (2025) (Gina vs. the Billion) . In 2015, she was SVT’s Christmas host on Christmas Eve, and this past summer her Sommar i P1 (summer at P1) received glowing reviews.
Hampus Nessvold first became known in 2016 with the comedy show 22 kvadrat (22 Square Meters) on P3 and has since enjoyed major TV success with his own comedy series Terese i kassan (Terese at the Checkout), where he plays the bold and socially incompetent cashier Terese, as well as the series Trevlig helg (Have a Nice Weekend), where he plays several different characters—both on SVT. In addition to his TV success, he has appeared in numerous theater productions such as Peter Pan går åt helvete (2023) (Peter Pan Goes to Hell), Ett resande teatersällskap (2024) (A Traveling Theatre Company), and Sakarias Spyor (2024) (Sakaria’s Vomit). In 2022, together with Mia Skäringer, he launched the podcast Skäringer & Nessvold, and in autumn 2023 the podcast duo went on an arena tour across Sweden. In 2024, Hampus Nessvold hosted Sommar i P1. This autumn, he has been featured on SVT in the comedy series Nya Noa Nyman (New Noa Nyman) alongside Johan Ulveson.
