About Benidorm Fest 2024: What to expect in the upcoming months

The festival will consist of three shows: two semifinals (January 30th and February 1st) and a final (February 3rd). In each semifinal, there will be 8 participants, of which four from each will advance to the grand final of the competition, composed of eight songs.

The final decision will depend on a professional jury and a 50% tele-vote share in the decision. The popular vote will be split 50/50 between traditional tele-voting through calls and messages, while the other 50% will be determined by a population bias (similar to the 100 experts in the German national finals and the demoscopic voting of Sanremo in Italy). In case of a tie for first place, the tied artist with the highest points from the jury will win. The winner of Benidorm Fest will go to Sweden to represent Spain in Eurovision 2024.

We wish all the 16 artists the best luck and all of them as well as RTVE should be proud of the level of Benidorm Fest 2024 which is set to be the most competitive and exciting one of all its three editions.
