The Grand Final of the 2024 edition of Benidorm Fest, the national selection of Spain, will take place on February 3rd 2024. This news was announced in Alicante, the region that will host Benidorm Fest for a third time.
Benidorm Fest 2024
On July 26th 2023 the Spanish national broadcaster, RTVE, announced that the dates for Benidorm Fest 2024, the Spanish national selection, are the following:
- Tuesday January 30th 2024: Semi-final 1
- Thursday February 1st 2024: Semi-final 2
- Saturday February 3rd 2024: Grand Final

More details about the next search for a Spanish Eurovision contestant were made public, like that 16 contestants will compete for the ticket to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Spain.
In September of this year a songwriting camp will be organized during which international and Spanish songwriters will write songs for the sole purpose of creating the song that will bring Spain its victory in the contest.
Eurovision 2023
In the Eurovision Song Contest of 2023 Spain was represented by Blanca Paloma with the song “Eaea”. Blanca was tipped to take the main title or at least top 5 or top 10, but eventually she ended 17th (of 26) in the Grand Final. Spain is one of the Big Five countries, which allows the country to immediately progress to the Grand Final.
