Slovenia: EMA Freš final date announced

RTVSLO has revealed that the final of EMA Freš will take place on January 18th, a month before the Slovenian national final. The two winners of this brand new competition for young performers will participate in the EMA final on February 22nd.

Two days ago, the Slovenian broadcaster revealed the line-up of established performers for the 2020 Eurovision final, Ana Soklič, Božidar Wolfand Wolf, Gaja Prestor, Imset, Inmate, Klara Jazbec, Lina Kuduzović, Manca Berlec, Simon Vadnjal and Tinkara Kovač.

These ten artists will be joined by two lucky winners of the EMA FRes contest that has been progressing online. The contest will culminate in January when the televoters and jury will each select an entry to compete at EMA 2020. The goal of this concept in the contest was to help young fresh talent have a chance to compete with more established artists.

  • Stella – “Ne Vem, Če Sem V Redu” (I don’t know if I’m OK)
  • Younite – “The Cure”
  • Klarity – “Diham” (I’m breathing)
