Slovakia: Is this country returning to the contest in 2025?

RTVS, the Slovakian national broadcaster, has revealed that Slovakia might be returning to the contest in 2025, which is 13 years after its last participation.

What do we know by now?

What we know by now is that the Head of PR and Communication of the Slovakian national broadcaster, RTVS, has stated that Slovakia is looking into returning to the contest in two years (2025). This statement is confirmed by the General Director of RTVS.

The changes are made possible because of a change in the allocation of funds at RTVS. The reason why Slovakia did not compete since 2012 is because they did not have the funds for it anymore.
