On July 14th 2023 word became known that the song submission for Azerbaijan has opened. Immediately after confirming that Azerbaijan will compete in the upcoming song contest in Malmö (Sweden) in 2024 the country also announced that its song submission windows has opened.
The 2024 Azeri submission process
You can read more information about the 2024 Azeri submission process below.
- The song submission window is open between July 14th and September 30th 2023.
- Songs can be send to the e-mail address [email protected].
- A short biography of the artist should be send together with the submission, together with a photo and information about the authors of the song.
- The submitted song should not be longer than 3 minutes.
- Songs should not be released before September 1st 2023.
- Keep in mind: The Azeri national broadcaster, Ictimai, can make the necessary changes to the song before it is handed in as the participating 2024 song.
Eurovision 2023
In the Eurovision Song Contest of 2023 Azerbaijan was represented by the twins TuralTuranX with the song “Tell Me More”, the duo ended in 14th place (of 15) in Semi-final 1, thus they did not make into the Grand Final.
