TVR has officially revealed the dates of their national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Selecția Națională will be made up of three shows which will see 23 candidates compete to wave the flag in Tel Aviv.
The semifinals of this year’s Romanian selection will take place on January 27 and February 10, while the final is scheduled to take place on February 17 in Bucharest.
In the first two shows, an expert jury will select up to five finalists, while the televote will select a sixth finalist. TVR may use a wildcard at any point in the competition. At the final, a combination of the jury vote and the televote will select the entry that will go to Tel Aviv in May.
