TVR has published all the songs that will compete at Selecţia Naţională 2019. This year’s Romanian national selection will see 23 acts compete for the right to wave the flag in Tel Aviv.
A few days ago, the broadcaster announced that one of the initial semifinalists had withdrawn from the contest due to personal commitments. Dan Bittman will no longer compete at Selecţia Naţională 2019, so 23 contestants will perform at the live shows. You can listen to all the tracks below:
At the semifinals, up to five qualifiers will be selected by the voting of a professional jury panel while the televote will choose an additional finalist. Keep in mind that TVR reserves the right to award a wildcard at any stages of the national selection. The overall winner will be decided by the combination of votes from an international expert committee and the audience via televoting at the live final, that will be held in February.
The semifinals of Selecţia Naţională 2019 will take place in Arad and Iași, while Bucharest will host the grand final.
