Tonight, Romania’s search for their Eurovision 2019 representative got underway. 12 acts competed in the first semi-final of Selecția Națională 2019 for spots in the final. The jury selected the following acts to advance:
- Bella Santiago – Army of love
- Trooper – Destin
- Claudiu Mirea – We Are The Ones
- Dya & Lucian Colareza – Without You (sin ti)
- Teodora Dinu – Skyscraper
This year, the viewing public was also allowed to select another act to send to the finals. The public therefore chose:
- Vaida – Underground
Selecția Națională 2019 will continue on February 10th when we will learn the remaining finalists. Romania is trying to get back to the grand final at Eurovision after the first time a song did not advance from the semi-finals last year in Lisbon.
