Results of the Junior Eurovision 2019 Running Order Draw

The Running Order Draw for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 has just ended in Gliwice. The draw has decided which songs will open and close the show and the running order position of the host country Poland.

Australia will open the show, while Serbia will close this year’s contest. Poland has also drawn the running order position and will perform 11th. This year, as in 2018, the half of the show in which the remaining countries will perform hasn’t been drawn, as it will be decided by the producers of the show.

How it worked

The Opening Ceremony started with the traditional Red Carpet event, where all the participants posed for press and photographers. Once inside the hall, a draw determined the countries that will open and close the show, as well as the running spot of the host country Poland. The full running order for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 will be decided by the producers of the show to showcase the different styles of music and ensure variety and excitement.

19 countries will compete at this year’s Junior Eurovision, which sees the return of Spain after 13 years, and the withdrawal of Azerbaijan and Israel. The 2019 contest will take place on November 24 in Gliwice-Silesia under the motto #shareTheJOY. Poland will host Junior Eurovision for the first time after the victory of Roksana Węgiel in 2018. Roksana herself, Ida Nowakowska and Aleksander Sikora will present the show live from Gliwice Arena.
