12 countries will compete in this year’s Junior Eurovision, which sees the debut of Germany, and the withdrawal of 8 countries: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Wales, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia and Portugal, due to the strong health crisis that plagues to the world because of Covid – 19.

The 2020 Contest will take place on November 29 on a Polish television set in Warsaw under the banner #MoveTheWorld. Poland will host Junior Eurovision for the second time in a row after Viki Gabor‘s win in 2019.
