RTP will hold today the national final that will select the Portuguese performer for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The winner of the show will sing the song “Youtuber”, composed by João Cabrita, on November 26 in Tbilisi.
During the show, all five finalists will perform a song of their own choice and “Youtuber”, the song selected by RTP for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Last week, the Portuguese candidates were already presented to the audience in the morning magazine “A Praça”, where they sang cover songs:
- Filipa Ferreira (11 years)
- Matilde Leite (14 years)
- Margarida Lima (12 years)
- Duarte Valença (10 years)
- Mariana Venâncio (10 years)
The winner of “Juniores de Portugal” will be decided by a mix of a professional jury panel and televoting, which has been open since last Friday. You can watch the show live from RTP Studios in Porto at 18.00 CET by clicking here.
