After many reports, Jan Pawlicki, TVP director, has confirmed via Twitter that they will be running an open selection procedure whose final will be held on March 5!
Jan Pawlicki hasn’t revealed more details regarding this, but he has stated that the Polish broadcaster won’t be using an internal method as “it is an unsuccessful formula to pick an artist for Poland”. TVP was supposed to announce an internally selected artist next month and there have been many reports about possible choices. Will we see any of the rumoured acts competing at the Polish final?
Last year, Monika Kuszyńska waved the Polish flag in Vienna with the song “In The Name of Love” after being internally selected, she came 23rd at the Grand Final.
