The Norwegian public broadcaster, NRK, revealed yesterday the important dates regarding the MGP final of 2019.
The final of Melodi Grand Prix 2019 will take place once again in Oslo Spektrum on 2nd March 2019.
“We are constantly working to take it a step further each year. More than one million Norwegians have high expectations for the MGP evening, and we have to deliver”, says Stig Karlsen, who is both producer and music director for Norway’s biggest music show.
“The tickets for the “Super Saturday” in Oslo Spektrum will be released later this autumn, but we want to go out with the place and date already, as we know there are many who travel long distance. Flights and hotels must be booked before the fun begins.”, he continues.
Despite a lot of talk about confetti and pyro-effects, there is no doubt that it is the music that is most important for the MGP producers. Stig Karlsen says that the songs and the artists are the main focus. The producer of the show promises that there will be a final with both famous artists but also new rising stars and a few surprises!
The artists and the songs that will compete in the final of MGP 2019 will be revealed during a press conference on 25th January!
