There is news about the Norwegian national selection, Melodi Grand Prix 2024, because all 18 competing acts for this national final have been selected. This national final will determine which artist will wave the Norwegian flag in Malmö (Sweden) during the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
Melodi Grand Prix 2024
All the 18 competing acts of Melodi Grand Prix 2024, the Norwegian national selection, have been selected and informed about their participation, said Norwegian Delegation Head, Stig Karlsen, on Instagram. The submission window of the Norwegian selection closed on August 31st 2023.

The 18 acts that are going to compete will be made public on January 5th 2024. Six songs will compete per show in Melodi Grand Prix 2024. There will be three semi-finals, which will kick-off on January 13th 2024, and the national grand final of Norway will take place on February 3rd 2024.

In the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool (United Kingdom) it was Alessandra who took the stage with her empowering song, “Queen of Kings”. Alessandra came in 6th (of 15) in Semi-final 1, and eventually ended in 5th place (of 26) in the 2023 Grand Final.
