Mørland & Debrah Scarlett to represent Norway in Vienna!

The Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2015 has just come to an end and we have a winner: Mørland & Debrah Scarlett will represent Norway at Eurovision 2015 with the song “A Monster Like Me”!

 

11 acts have competed at today’s final which has been broadcasted live from the Oslo Spektrum:

  1. Erlend Bratland – Thunderstruck
  2. Raylee – Louder
  3. Tor & Bettan – All Over the World
  4. Jenny Langlo – Next to You
  5. Ira Konstantinidis – We Don’t Worry
  6. Contrazt – Heaven
  7. Marie Klåpbakken – Ta meg tilbake
  8. Staysman & Lazz – En godt stekt pizza
  9. Mørland & Debrah Scarlett – A Monster Like Me
  10. Alexandra Joner – Cinderella
  11. Karin Park – Human Beings

The winner has been chosen after two rounds of public televote including a superfinal. During the first round, the four artists with the most amount of votes have qualified for the superfinal:

In the superfinal, the four qualifiers have performed once again and the voting time has been open right after the four performances. The most voted act during the superfinal round has got the ticket to represent Norway in Vienna. The results have been cast by region and the final scoreboard is as it follows:

For the first time after 17 years, the NRK orchestra has been featured at Melodi Grand Prix 2015. These are the finalists who have performed with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra: Erlend Bratland, Tor & Bettan, Marie Klåpbakken, Staysman & Lazz, Mørland & Debrah Scarlett and Alexandra Joner.

The final of Melodi Grand Prix 2015 has been hosted by Silya Nymoen and Kåre Magnus Bergh live from Oslo. During the show, Carl Espen has performed his song “Silent Storm” together with her cousin and composer playing the piano.
