MRT has just revealed that Marija Spasovska will represent FYR Macedonia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The young singer was selected internally following live auditions that took place on August 18.
10 candidates performed at the casting held by MRT to select the next Macedonian hopeful for the kids’ music competition. The winner was chosen unanimously by a professional expert panel that watched and listened to all the performances.
Marija has already taken part in a few national and international competitions like the Slavianski Bazaar where she placed 3rd performing Kaliopi’s Eurovision entry ‘Crno i Belo’. She has also released an album of 7 tracks performed by her. Just like Martija Stanojkovic and Mina Blazev, Marija participated in the Balkan talent show ‘Pinkove Zvezde’:
