The Busker, the group that is representing Malta this year in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool (United Kingdom) has filmed their music video last evening; the song that they will represent their country with is “Dance (Our Own Party)”.
The Busker films a music video
Last evening The Busker, the Maltese representatives of this year’s contest, have filmed their music video for the song “Dance (Our Own Party)”. The three guys of The Busker filmed their video together with PBS, the Maltese national broadcaster.
The Busker already stated a couple of weeks ago that they will make minor changes to their song and act in the way they are going to perform in Liverpool. In the past Malta was known for changing the song they would eventually enter the competition with.
Meeting with the Maltese Prime Minister
Earlier yesterday The Busker had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Malts, Robert Abela. The Prime Minister wished the trio good luck in Liverpool, and he said that he is proud that The Busker can represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Eurovision 2023
In the contest of 2023 Malta’s The Busker will perform in the first half of the first Semi-final.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place on May 9th, 11th, and 13th 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. 37 countries will compete for the crown. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be a joint venture, since last year’s winner Ukraine cannot organize the contest on home soil because of the ongoing war with Russia.
