Malta: 20 semifinalists unveiled!

Tonight, from 20.45 CET live from Xarabank on TVM (Maltese Eurovision broadcaster) the final contenders to represent the mediterranean island in Copenhagen have been introduced to the audience, as they have once again been shortlisted from previous 70 acts.

Full line-up is the following:

  1. Some Kind of Wonderful – Wayne William (Wayne Micallef)
  2. City Lady – Ryan Paul Abela (Paul Abela / Joe Julian Farrugia)
  3. Brand New Day – Davinia (Elton Zarb / Matt Mercieca)
  4. Let The Sunshine In – Sophie (Sophie DeBattista / Adam Pakard / Alex Dew)
  5. Hypnotica – Jessika (Philip Vella / Gerard James Borg)
  6. Invisible – Raquel Galdes (Philip Vella / Gerard James Borg)
  7. One Last Ride – Daniel Testa (Stephen Rudden / Lawrence Peter Bridge)
  8. Pin The Middle – Debbie Stivala (Peter Paul Galea / Debbie Stivala)
  9. Oblivion – Chris Grech (Philip Vella / Gerard James Borg)
  10. Until We Meet Again – Deborah C (Elton Zarb / Matt Mercieca)
  11. Because I Have You – Amber (Paul Giordimaina / Fleur Balzan)
  12. Lovetricity – Christabelle (Magnus Kaxe / Gerard James Borg)
  13. Coming Home – Firelight (Richard Micallef)
  14. Safe – Miriam Christine (Mark Scicluna / Emil Calleja Bayliss)
  15. Addictive – Romina Mamo (Ylva / Linda Persson)
  16. Now and Forever – Andreana (Vinny Vella / Karl Spiteri)
  17. Love Will Take Me Home – Franklin (Glen / Beatrice Eriksson / M Frenell / Michael J Down)
  18. Ten – Corazon (Paul Giordimaina / Fleur Balzan)

  20. Just no place like home –Fabrizio Fanielo (Johan Bejerholm)

The semifinal will take place on the 7th of February, where 6 of them won’t keep on fighting for the ticket to represent Malta. Next February 8th from Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta’Qali, the grand final of the 2014 Malta Eurovision Song Contest will be held and the Maltese audience will have the chance to vote for their favourite and know who is going to wave their flag in Denmark.
