Lithuania: First 5 acts qualifies

Tonigh broadcaster LRT held the first heat of the Lithuanian national final Eurovizijos. 10 of the 20 contestants sang covers of former Eurovision songs to impress the viewers and the jury with their vocal abilities, and 5 of them moved on the to the next round that will be held on January 4th. The results were dediced by mix of televote, a Lithuanian jury and three international juries from Russia, Sweden and Germany

The line-up tonight was the following:

1. Aistė Pilvelytė – Euphoria (Sweden 2012) QUALIFIED
2. Aleksandra Metalnikova – Wild Dances (Ukraine 2004)
3. Vaidas Baumila – L’essenziale (Italy 2013) QUALIFIED
4. Julija Jegorova – Shady Lady (Ukraine 2008)
5. Vilija Matačiūnaitė – HaSheket SheNish’ar (Israel 2005) QUALIFIED
   
6. Jurijus Veklenko – Standing Still (Germany 2012)
7. Justinas Lapatinskas – New Tomorrow (Denmark 2011) QUALIFIED
8. Sasha Song – Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi (Switzerland 1988)
9. Juozas Butnorius – Fly On The Wing Of Love (Denmark 2000)
10. Vig Roses (Giedrė Girnytė, Akvilė Matukaitė) – Cool Vibes (Switzerland 2005) QUALIFIED
    

The remaining 10 finalists will compete in a heat on next Saturday on December 28th, where another 5 finalists will qualify for the next round.
