Listen to the Greek Eurovision entry “Die Together” by Amanda Tenfjord

ERT released today “Die Together”, the song with which Amanda Tenfjord will represent Greece at Eurovision 2022.

Last December it was announced that Amanda Tenfjord had been internally selected by the Greek public broadcaster ERT to represent Greece at Eurovision 2022 in Turin, Italy.

Today, on March 10th, the song premiered through the TV show Studio 4, with the presentation of the video clip which was directed by Kostas Karydas in the beautiful island of Symi. The song is written by Amanda herself. Amanda wrote the song after breaking up from a long-term relationship. The producer of the song is the Norwegian Bjørn Helge Gammelsæter. The stage director will be Fokas Evangelinos, known from many Eurovision entries such as Greece 2005. The project manager will be Ilias Kokotos.

ABOUT Amanda Tenfjord

The 24-year-old Amanda Georgiadis was born in Oslo, Norway but shortly after moved to Ioannina, Greece. When she was 3 years old her family moved back to Norway. This time in Tenfjord which became Amanda’s artist name when she grew up. At the age of 5, Amanda began taking piano lessons and became an amateur musician, writing her first songs as a teenager. At the age of 18 she got into medical school but her love for music was kept strong and Amanda participated in many festivals in her country.

During a music festival, she was discovered by a large record company and as a result she released her first EP album entitled “First impression”. Her second EP included the song “Then I fell in love”, which was a great radio success, remaining for more than 20 weeks in the official top 10 radio chart of Norway. In 2020 the song “Troubled Water” was included in the Netflix TV series “Spinning out”.

Greece debuted Eurovision in 1974 with Marinella and “Krasi, Thalassa Ke T’ Agori Mou” where they finished at the 11th place of 17 with 7points.

Their most recent entry was last year with Stefania and “Last Dance” which brought them back in the top 10 after many years.
