Junior Songfestival first semi-final today!

Today, the first semi-final of the Dutch Junior Songfestival 2014 will take place in the TV studios Aalsmeer. The first two finalists will be decided during this afternoon’s show among 4 candidates:

1. Bobby & Ella – Hard to Explain
2. Chelsea – Waarom
3. Sem – Jij Staat Op Nummer 1
4. Suze – Holiday

The two qualifiers will be chosen by a mix of public televote and jury; a professional jury formed by Xander de Buisonjé, Niels Geusebroek and Yvonne Coldeweijer and a junior jury leaded by the last year’s winners Mylène & Rosanne. The non-qualifiers will still have a chance bidding for a special wildcard which will be awarded to one of the non-qualifiers from both semi-finals.

The show will be aired live on NPO3 – Zapp at 19.00 CET and it will be hosted by Jan Smit. A special webcast will be available abroad here and an alternative link here.
