RTVE has just announced that Soleá will wave the Spanish flag on 29th November. The young performer has been selected internally to follow Melani‘s footsteps at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
Soleá is a 9-year old flamenco singer that belongs to a family of artists, singers and dancers. She has already made some appearances at the Andalucía TV’s show Menuda Noche and has performed in weddings and concerts along with her talented family.
Spain has taken part at Junior Eurovision five times reaching very successful places, no lower than 4th. The country won the contest in 2004 when María Isabel performed Antes Muerta Que Sencilla in Lillehammer, Norway. They withdrew in 2007 and returned last year after an absence of 12 years achieving the 3rd place with Melani and her song ‘Marte’.
