PBS has launched a revamped national selection to select its new Junior Eurovision representative. The broadcaster will choose the 2018 act for Minsk from a televised final that will feature original songs submitted by the candidates.
Children aged between 9 and 14 years can send their applications by requesting the form and rules to the broadcaster via email ([email protected]). All singers willing to take part in the competition need to send an original song of a duration of between 2.30 and 3.00 minutes. They also have to be Maltese citizens having been involved in the composition procedure.
On 3 August, the broadcaster will announce the 16 finalists that will compete in the live final which will take place in September.
