MRT has opened submission to select this year’s Junior Eurovision hopeful. As in previous years, the Macedonian broadcaster will select both the singer/s and song through an internal procedure.
The Macedonian national selection will be made up of two stages.
- From today until August 16th, singers aged 9 – 14 years can register for a live audition that will take place on August 18th at MRT’s headquarters. They have to send an e-mail to jescmk.mrt.com.mk attaching their picture, name, date of birth, e-mail and contact phone number of their parents. During the live audition, the candidates will perform cover songs live in front of a professional jury panel that will select the winner/s who will represent FYR Macedonia in Minsk.
- When the performer/s is selected, the broadcaster will choose the song that the Macedonian hopeful/s will sing at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
