Today the Public Broadcaster has announced an open call for songs to select the composition that Tamar Edilashvili will perform in Minsk. The 12-year old will represent Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2018 following her 1st prize at the talent show ‘Ranina’.
All interested composers and songwriters can send their original songs no later than 1st September, along with biography, picture and phone number, to [email protected]. All compositions must follow the rules of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, no more than 3 minutes long, while the lyrics should be in the Georgian language.
It’s interesting to remember that Giga Kukhianidze has composed almost every Georgian entry in the history of Junior Eurovision, will he be selected again?
