13 years old Barbara Popovic has been internally selected to represent FYR Macedonia at Junior Eurovision 2013!
Some days ago, Macedonian broadcaster MRK confirmed participation at Junior Eurovision after a year out of the competition. Internal auditions have been run and Barbara Popovic has been finally chosen to represent her country in Kiev.
Thirteen years old, she is in year eight at school in Skopje but has been studying music (piano) since she was six years old with the Ilija Nikolovski – Luj music school. She already working with well-known musicians and singers Kaliopi, Jovan Jovanov, Darko Dimitrov, Dragan Mijalkovsi and Elena Ristevska.
Barbara is not new in the music scene, she has taken part in many festivals in FYR Macedonia like at Super Zvezda 2007, 2008,2009 and 2010:
Barbara is also a member of ‘Piccolo’ children’s choir in her music school and tells that, above all, she sings because it makes her happy.
More information about the participant and song will be revealed later.
