Junior Eurovision: Armenian finalists revealed!

Armenian public broadcaster ARMTV just revealed the list of the 12th names to take part at the national final for Junior Eurovision 2013.

The broadcaster has been accepting applications from July 1st to September 1st. Among the 82 received applications, here are the acts to compete at live show.

  1. Mary Vardanyan – “Ergm in Ays” (10 years)
  2. Happy Day – “Happy Day” (Yerevan)
  3. David Vardanyan (11 years) y Erna Mirzoyan (15 years) – “Lusavorakan” (Stepanakert)
  4. Petros Ghazaryan – “Du-du” (12 years, Yerevan)
  5. Karen Oughuryan “Ynkerner enk” (12 years, Yerevan)
  6. Karen Ohanyan – “Share and Like” (12 years, Yerevan)
  7. Karapet Karapetyan – “Miracles” (13 years, Yerevan)
  8. Gayane Ghazaryan – “We Are Young” (13 years, Yerevan)
  9. Milena Ghazaryan – “Antshanot Ashkhar” (13 years, Yerevan)
  10. Rosa Kostandyan – “Gitem” (13 years, Vanadzor)
  11. Monica Avanesyan – “Choco Fabric” (15 years, Yerevan)
  12. Michael Simonyan – “Otar vi Varium” (15 years, Idjevan)

Michael Varosyan took part at Armenian final 2012 with Compass Band but he couldn’t perform at Junior Eurovision because he wasn’t old enough for the competition, Petros Ghazaryan took part at Armenian final 2011 with the song “Im Yerazank”, Karen Ohanyan took part at Armenian preselection 2012 wih the song “Love” and also Gayane Ghazaryan with the song “Come”.

Armenian national final will take place on September 27 at 21.30 (19:30 CET) and the winner will be chosen by a mix of jury and public televote. The show will be broadcasted live on First Channel of Armenia.

Armenia has taken part in the competition since 2007 winning two years later with Vladimir Arzumanyan and the song Mama. ARMTV was also the host of the 2011 edition wich took place in Yerevan.
