Did you know?

Il Volo is a powerhouse Italian pop opera trio featuring Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble and were discovered by renowned manager Michele Torpedine. During the last few years, Il Volo have performed all over the world, released massively-selling albums and joined legendary songstress Barbra Streisand on tour!

Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble were spotted in 2009 on the RAI TV show, Ti Lascio Una Canzone, but it was thanks to the intuition of Michele Torpedine (the manager who built the careers of Andrea Bocelli and Zucchero) that they became a trio, Il Volo.

Before they even spread their wings with a debut album, Il Volo set a remarkable series of records. They were the first Italians ever to sign a contract with Geffen/Interscope and the only Italian artists that Quincy Jones invited to sing on We are the World for Haiti.

With 1 million albums sold with their debut album, 2 Latin Grammys nominations and a Latin Billboard awards won as Best Act, collaborations with artists like Eros Ramazzotti,Placido Domingo and Barbra Streisand, sold-out worldwide tours and the recent victory of Sanremo Festival they are now artists considered not so much Italians successful abroad, but international artists who happen to have been born in Italy.
