Israel’s HaKochav HaBa L’Eurovision continues its road to the final. A new round of duels has concluded with another contestant eliminated.
The voting system worked like in previous shows, each jury member awarded the contestants either 8 or 0 points, making up a maximum of 40 points, while the rest of the points were decided by the viewers. As the maximum was 100 points, the outcome was presented in percentages. In the duels, the artist with the highest percentage was the winner.
This round had a slightly different format, as the artists themselves chose their rivals. The loser of a duel had the chance to select another artist to battle from those who hadn’t performed keeping the initial percentage.
You can find all today’s duels and their results below:
- Osher Biton (47%) vs Kobi Marimi (70%)
- Osher Biton (47%) vs Tai (64%)
- Osher Biton (47%) vs Ketreyah (86%)
At the end of the show, Osher Biton was eliminated from the competition.
These are the acts still in the race to represent Israel on home ground:
- Daniel Barzilai
- Maya Buskila
- Avraham de Carvalho
- Daniel Mazuz
- Shalva Band
- Ofri Calfon
- Kobi Marimi
Remember that all the performances are available to watch on Mako’s official site.
The next round will start on Saturday and will feature team performances as well as some acts singing with the jury members.
