National Final Eurovision 2015 Ireland

Ireland: RTÉ opens public submissions period

As we previously announced some days ago, RTÉ decided to opt, after a break of several years, for an open selection proccess in order to choose its entry for Vienna. Today it has been officially announced by the public broadcaster the public system and rules they will be following to get all the entries for Eurosong 2015.  It isimportant to remark that menthor system which previously was used to choose their singers for the entries is now over.

Composers and lyricists are invited to submit their entries until October 31st to the next address: RTÉ Entertainment, Donnybrook, Dublin.  It’s also a request to send in either on a MP3 or WAV format with several documents which must include the lyrics (6 copies), a photo, a biography and one which needs to detail how the performance on stage would look like. It’s compulsory to be an Irish citizen or nacionality ID card as well as permission to get in/out of the country for the show.

A professional jury will determinate, after previous evaluation and listening to the songs, which ones go through the final, which date has not been set yet though.
