GPB has just announced how they will select their next Eurovision representative. The winner of the Georgian version of the international format Idol will wave the country’s flag in Tel Aviv.
Today the Georgian broadcaster has approved a new national selection format. The singer that will represent the country at Eurovision 2019 will be the winner of Idol, which will start on TV on January 1.
The 10 participants of the talent show will be chosen through live auditions that will take place around Georgia. Singers from 16 years will be elegible to compete in the show, that will be make up of different stages. A 4 person jury panel and the audience will decide the winner of Idol Georgia.
